Design Team 2013

Jane Tregenza - In House designer

"My name is Jane Tregenza. I have five children, ranging from 18 to 30 years of age. This means I have lots of photos to scrapbook (although I’m sad to say I don’t have any lovely close-ups of baby feet and hands). I have been teaching and selling a wide range of crafts over the years, even supplying David Jones Australia wide at one stage. I came across scrapbooking 2004 after walking into a scrapbook store looking for ideas for an album for my oldest daughter who was turning 21. After having a free beginner’s class and deciding I could do better, I had a go at some pages and was asked to teach. It all went from there. I love to scrapbook and teach. It is so much fun to share each others experiences, but also a privilege as I get to share in lots of peoples lives, hear about the highs and special moments, and also sometimes the sadder times.” Jane is on the Graphic 45 Design Team for 2010, the owner and operator of Seriously Scrapbooking store in South Australia and founder of Imaginarium Designs. Jane has recently been published in Scrapbooking Memories Magazine, Scrapbook Creations Magazine and Scrapbooking and Beyond.

Jane's beautiful Scrapbooking Projects can be seen here.

Natalie May - Design team Coordinator

Hi there ... I'm Natalie May. A 37 year old mum to a gorgeous 9 year old daughter, Jessica, a wife to a very supportive hubby and I love working in this industry!
I have been a card maker for about 10 years and discovered Scrapbooking late 2006. It’s such a brilliant creative outlet, with no restrictions as to what you can do and VERY addictive! My family is my main inspiration obviously, but I love scrapping any photos. If I like the photo, I’ll scrap it! I also love to create mini albums and “Off the Page” projects.
I don’t believe have a particular style - I love to experiment and try new things but most of my LO’s are unorganized and casual. My theory is…. “ If it looks good – Stick it down!”  I love to work off a sketch or page map but also enjoy letting my creative juices flow and let the paper guide me!
I love using a variety of techniques on my pages from dry and wet embossing, Glimmermist, inking and more recently I have become addicted to my Cuttlebug again. I have a soft spot for chipboard and really get so much fulfillment from teaching and making sure that my students walk away from a class having learnt something new.
I have been published in all three Australian Scrapbooking magazines and have recently written a couple of magazine article for the Australian magazines.
I love this industry … the opportunity to teach a new technique…. Meeting so many amazing people…..and to be able to CREATE everyday is quite a blessing.

Nat's gorgeous Scrapbooking Projects can be seen here.

Sandrine Dawes

"Now a little bit about myself: I live in a small country town called Roma in QLD, I am married with a 6 year old boy and a 2 year old daughter.

I run a mechanical workshop with my husband where I work full time. I enjoy the country lifestyle as I originally come from a tiny village in the North of France! I met my husband overseas and he was from Roma! Photography and scrapbooking are a big part of my life, I really enjoy the creative release it provides!!! I also really enjoy traveling, visiting new places with my family.

I have been scrapbooking since end of 2006 thanks to a friend who showed me her work. My style is vintage with a splash of grungy elements, I do love inks and stamps and circles!!! I mainly get my inspiration from my children and the photos, the papers, colour scheme etc. I sometimes start a layout with a new technique in mind, I do love to use products creatively especially chipboard! I am currently on 3 Design Teams: Scrapping Outback, Fat Cats Card Corner and Meg’s Garden. "

Sandie Edwards

"I am so thrilled to have the opportunity to be working with Imaginarium Designs, as part of their creative design team for 2013. I a Criminologist (with an artistic flair), though currently a stay at home mother, to our son Jesse who turns 2 in March, 2012.
I originate from an extremely artistic family, which extends through many generations. For as long as I can remember, I have dabbled creatively in a wide variety of crafts. My paper-craft journey began over a decade ago, however, I only briefly ‘played’ up until the birth of my son. The last 12 months has seen my love of paper-crafts grow to the extent that my ‘hobby’ has over-taken the house, and our Burmese cat, Malinki has developed a major paper fetish!
I am completely passionate about this industry, and enjoy "all forms" of paper-craft, with my preferred style leaning more towards vintage/romantic/shabby chic, though not always. The goal I have always set myself is to: stretch the imagination, push boundaries by stepping out of my comfort zone via any means possible to create something different and unique....and of course be inspiring to others.
I look forward to the year ahead, working with this amazing creative team, and sharing my creations of Imaginarium Designs with you..."

Maiko Miwa

Our two design team members from Japan are truly amazing. I don't know if it has anything to do with their nations history of working with paper, but they are both masters at it.

Maiko does the most beautiful work. It is always detailed and so pretty, whether it is her layouts or off the page projects. Each one is a masterpiece.

Miranda Edney

" My name is Miranda Edney and I am from sunny Florida! I have been crafting for about 2 1/2 years now, and my passion is for altered art! I am a huge fan of grunge/mixed media art. But I am always bouncing around to all of the areas of art and trying my hand at them. Chipboard is a STAPLE in my crafting supplies! I love to alter pieces using crackle paints and mists, but my favorite is to create 3D elements using chippies! I strive to think outside of the box, and come up with unique ideas! When I am not crafting, I am usually spending time outdoors with my fiancee and just enjoying life! I am a very humble, fun loving person!
I love to teach as well! I have a youtube channel where i post tutorials and share detailed videos of my work. I also am an educator for a couple of design teams. . .
I currently design for Swirlydoos Kit Club as an educator, Guest Designing for Shimmerz as an educator, I design for Iamroses flowers, The Piece By Piece Laces, and Discount Paper Crafts Designer/DT coordinator.
I thoroughly LOVE to create, it is my happy place. My craft room is my little sanctuary and I am in there daily working on projects! "

Larrisa Albernaz

My name is Larissa Albernaz and I´m from São Paulo, Brazil. I´ve been married to my sweet husband Flávio for 12 years and we have an adorable daughter Isabela.
As a paper crafter, I have been scrapbooking for seven years. Along these years, scrapbooking has provided me a great sort of artistic possibilities and a lot of fun! In fact, I love scrapbooking because it provides me to express myself in style, mixing paper, embellishments, colors, memories and a message.
While scrapbooking I pursue something that has sense to me, which inspires me and that can be different, interesting, cute, creative, colorful and fun!
I adore papers and creating page layouts or 3 dimensional pieces!. One of my life’s little pleasures is to cut, tear and distress papers, creating anything that translates the story I want to tell.
My style is eclectic, crafty. I love adding a lot of layers to my collages, including some paints or inks and I pay great attention to the details.

You can check out my works at my blog:

Patricia Basson

South Africa

I have been scrapping since 2006, I only really came to my rights about two years ago when I started visiting blogs and on line galleries and found a few scrapping Idols who's work I admire and get inspiration from...
My style leans towards being Shabby-chic, Vintage and sometimes some grunge thrown in for good measures! I love layers and can not scrap without distressing. That goes for my chipboard treatment as well...I tend to see how far I can push the chippies in painting, misting and even dry embossing! My all time favourite product I use on Chipboard is UTEE. I love the effect I get when either adding micro beads to it or spraying mist into the crevices and have it form puddles of colour on the Chipboard... I have a few favourite techniques that I enjoy I am sure you will see if you visit my blog... which I truly hope you will have time to do...

I am currently on the DT for Scrap Africa and was on our own producer Enmarc Crafts DT from May 2011-2012 and have been asked to return as DT as from January again. I was also on the DT for a Scrapstore/kit club, Scrapbook Studio."
I am sure you are going to love what Patricia designs for us this year. I am look forward to seeing her work this year.

I started scrapping to preserve our memories. I still like to do this but I think now I scrap more for the creative outlet & the chance to chat & make new friends! Scrapping has given me a chance to 'meet' people from all around the world.
